Check the IPAC electrical plug at the rear is secure which would be a good starting point, as well as all your main Earth straps.
Plus both battery post clamps. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

I'll check them again tomorrow!, Looking at the connector on the back of the IPAC, all looked well. Will try checking continuity though!

Hi Steve,
From checking all the earths I could find, The IPAC plug and testing continuity between them, I can't see any problems. I'm starting to look a the 10AS module but internally it looks fine, no damp whatsoever! Do you know if the 10as would stop the Defender from cranking or if it just sends the immobilization signal to the ECU to stop it from starting? Because if it does stop the engine from cranking, then maybe I can disregard this as part of my problem! Thanks, Ollie |

Hi,
I've just plugged it in and it says starter.mot.enab and then says OFF. Even when the engine is turning over, the LYNX Tool Still says that it is Off. Very confused. Does this mean that the 10as Immobiliser isn't working? Thanks, Ollie (Also... Just been reading up about the Nanocom and put it on Credit card |

Could the crank position sensor need replacing in its self.
I thought someone did have that issue on here at one time. Also worth trying.. press unlock on the fob right before starting and see what difference there is if any. Is the red alarm light off, and appears to be functioning as you'd expect? It should not flash at all once unlocked and before you start. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

I don't have any Fob, nor have I ever had the immobilizer light up on my dash. Its constantly been off for the year and a half of owning the landy.
I can see the sensor changing state which makes me look away from that. but by the looks it is a cheapish part to replace Lynx Diagnostics says the passive immobiliser is enabled.. even though I have never had a key fob |
