Defender 90 Land mark insurance A plan
Whilst looking for insurance for my Landmark It was quoted initially as a car and then at the last minute I was told it had to be insured on a van policy.

The V5 shows the vehicle is a Lights Goods vehicle and described as a Light 4x4 utility

Taxation class is N1 commercial vehicle.

My previous 110xs staion wagon was insured as a car but the V5 stated it was a DCPU and taxation class N1

Should I accept it , what should it be insured as, I would be interested to know what other land marks are insured as.
In fact what station wagons are classified as for insurance purposes.

Speak to a plan mine was commercial but had no problems insuring with them

And the service I’ve had recently from them is superb speak to the thatcham office as they have specialist policies available 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)

They have a branch in Newbury which is about 5 miles from the Thatcham branch.
They both have the same phone code, but different numbers.

It's Thatcham you need, not Newbury.

So Just to confirm was yours insured on a car policy?
What about your V5 is it classed as a commercial vehicle N1 so £240 road tax?

It states. Land Rover Defender 90 XS tdi Estate Car/ station wagon
It's with Ageas Insurance Ltd
