Looking at discovery 1s and 2s land rover did a few things to help remove road noise, 1 thing discuss on here is spring isolator and another appears to be the rotoflex coupling on the rear diff but has anyone tried the harmonc dampers?
could this help those trying to remove road noise FTC1499 DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

They're not designed to remove road noise. They're supposed to counter vibrations in the drive train when running over rough surfaces and are part of a package designed to improve NVH.
It wouldn't do any harm to fit them to a Defender but can't imagine them making any significant difference as the vehicle structure is so different.
