I had an added complication in that when torquing up a bolt the casting broke apart... Queue call to me boss to explain why i will be working from home Monday and Tuesday whilst the replacement part arrives...
Not a happy Boss...! |

The only part can fail on fuel pressure regulator is the diaphragm and a replacement one can be bought for a fraction of the price of a complete FPR

Good point, sadly when they are in for MOT and the fix is a complete new one with no hassle of a retest the options are few.

Do you know if they used genuine FP regulator? I am needing to swap it in my Td5 as starting dripping!
