Fuel Regulator and MOT
Just got through the MOT, but cost me a bit more than I was expecting.

A few bulbs but the regulator was out of the blue, no indication.

Never mind all through for another year. Very Happy

I had an added complication in that when torquing up a bolt the casting broke apart... Shocked Queue call to me boss to explain why i will be working from home Monday and Tuesday whilst the replacement part arrives...

Not a happy Boss...! Rolling Eyes

Can imagine not always sensitive to us Landy folk and our trials and tribulations.

Just contemplating what will go next at 120k, done all the pulleys and tensioners.

The only part can fail on fuel pressure regulator is the diaphragm and a replacement one can be bought for a fraction of the price of a complete FPR

Good point, sadly when they are in for MOT and the fix is a complete new one with no hassle of a retest the options are few.

Do you know if they used genuine FP regulator? I am needing to swap it in my Td5 as starting dripping!

This is the type of repair kit I'm referring too, you can get cheaper ones but Bosch has always struck me as being higher quality. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Disco...SwSQFZ~HsL
