To fit one of these tanks to puma with plastic main,do you have to drill a hole for what is called a balance pipe. From what I have read,on metal tanks (TD5) you use the drain plug.
I'm not keen to make a hole in my main tank. Puma 110 SW 90 V8 SOFT TOP |

I have not had one fitted, but belive that no holes are drilled into your tank, they connect it via the breather pipe on your old tank.

They do connect via breather for vapour breathing, but for the tank to empty, there is a balance pipe.On the older steel TD5 tanks they linked via the drain plug.I do not know if ther is a change on the plastis tank. Puma 110 SW 90 V8 SOFT TOP |
