Dont know if this applies but on a Ford Sierra I had, to enter the code using the radio buttons, the first press is 0, the second 1 etc so to enter 3 I had to press the button 4 times.

Just picked up the puma from a service and guess what... the bloody dearlers cant get the code into the stereo, tried three times and now its in safe mode, so from what I have gathered from above it seems I need a new radio now, anyone else had any problems like this... not looking forward to driving around not listing to the spice girls .... I will try again with the code in the morn after 24hrs....

First off, safe mode requires power on ISTR
Second, yes had this...twice Third, get your dealer to ring Land Rover Traceability with the details on the radio (not the card) eg the serial number etc. Its 1020 in the uk NOW and they will be there until about 1230 as Friday is a half day for the majority of Land Rover. You may find the code is correct (as i did on the first) so then you will get a new unit. Mike |

hope it works - traceability wont be open tomorrow, so if you want to try for an answer you need to get them now. Traceabilities records are more comprehensive than the dealers system - apparently they have every part SN recorded against the car...ive never seen it, but know they can trace each s/n part to a car when asked.
