Today i had a great day after yesterday
Before i attempted to fix the mudflap, i went down to the garage and used there car washing area and cleaned all of millie off and boy did she need it went for a drive to get her dry again and parked up at home and set to mending the mudflap, after a little while it was all done, i made sure this time it was well reinforced, so hopefully it will last a bit longer Then i changed over the header tank for my new one ............................ Old/new one ............................ Click image to enlarge Then the new one.............................. Click image to enlarge After that i set about fixing my drivers door, it had cracked in the normal place, to the left off the lock which you slide up and down, the known week spot, i have got some stuff that is the latest stuff from America and sets like metal, so we will have to see how that goes Sorry no pic's for that work. Then after doing that i changed all my seat covers for the set that i bought from on the forum, very pleased with them, thank you if you want pic's of them, let me know So i had a great time doing all the little jobs, next is the big job to do that needs a long, dry day, will have to see what the weekend weather brings 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Very nice. I did the same. It'd be worth putting a clear coat lacquer top coat on those before refitting. Makes washing the bugs off a whole heap easier. I didn't and mine look quite scabby now. |

Yes proffyaffle, it is a lovely piece of work i got it as my plastic one split and did not want it to happen again
I will take some pic's of the seat covers for you tomorrow, they are the same as i already have, exmoor trim ones, they are the same colour as my middle seat in the pic below...................................... Click image to enlarge But all 3 the same colour is allot better and brighter in the cab So now while one set is on the seats, the other set can be washed and aired and waiting for when i want to change them over 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Fitted Led illumination to the heater controls on the Puma. All four filament bulbs had blown. Swapped for LEDs sourced on eBay and what an improvement. Much crisper light and hopefully will last much longer. Highly recommended !! 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Any more info on that? I thought some were tried in the past and they were found to be too directional and uneven light spread.

Thanks Clayton... I've been looking at the canvas seat covers.. my seats are fine but vinyl so hot and sweaty in summer and cold in winter until the heated bits kick in so I thought the canvas might be good
I remember the blue ones being for sale now. Shame exmoor don't still do them. 1993 200Tdi Defender 90 |
