Loose Passenger Door Handle
Hi there,

Does anyone know how to tighten/refit the passenger door handle? Mine stretches away form the car about an inch when I use it!!!

Mine is a 07 Puma 110 XS SW.

Cheers

Paul

Hi

Take of the door fittings then remove the door card

The nuts on the inside of the door handle may have come loose so you will be able to tighten them up easily

Worth buying a trim removal tool as better than using a screw driver to remove the door trim from the door itself

Easy job to do

Good luck

Mark

Yes and silly me - mine came loose and when it went in for the first service I thought it would be fixed under warranty. No.no, it along with a few other things were charged to me (at an exorbinate rate)... Sad

Well I'd be asking why - such an item is without doubt covered by warranty. I only fixed mine because it fell off in the middle of the Gibson desert (Gunbarrel Highway!!)

Should be no charge for that they would have done mine for me but didn't have the time to spare.
