Mine's with the dealer at the minute for their second go at fixing this. They sealed round the roof the last time but I'm pretty certain it's leaking lower down. Water present on the drivers footwell after heavy rain. 2009 110 XS

This thread was linked based on my own leaks I am finding in my 110. Looking at the pics and checking my own truck Ican not find the teets and it is driving me nuts. Also I love saying teets.

How small are they?

great work defender75, nuts and teets in one post................

here's my non technical direction to find the teets.

open the bonnet
stand at the front passenger wheel
look down at the grill thingme on the top of the wing
the pipe from this is in the bottom right of the picture from lorryman100
one teet is visible (as arrow)
the other is underneath and needs a bit of poking around

hope this helps

Thanks everyone for help. So I pulled the vent cover off and found the first teet. It was full of dirt so I cleaned it out.

The lower one seemed fine. Could the top one being filled with dirt cause the water to come in through the dash?

I guess I don't understand how the water wold come in the through the dash instead of just sitting in the system but what do I know. I hope that does it.

Also check that the Heater air intake teets are not blocked. There are two of them and if blocked the heater intake will fill with water and leak into the passenger footwell. Took me ages trying to find where the water was coming from, in the end I found it was blocked teets.

You can see the part of the heater intake grill (left wing top) in the bottom right of the picture to give you orientation. There are two draining teets arrowed red.

Lorryman, i have checked this morning and my air intake is flooded (although no water leaks in) so remembering you precious photo i went to check the teets. I have a 2007 Puma, and i was only able to spot the one deep in the bowels of the engine bay, not the top one. So as i was dressed for work i gave up and postponed the intervention for tomorrow.

But now the question is: what am i supposed to do to the teet to unclog it?

Thanks Smile

it's a few week and lots of rain since the truck came back and I can report that inside remains dry. I can now drive around without the fan on full time to clear the screen and I can drive away without mopping all the windows. Yipee!

I forgot to say thanks for the advice and input. I left the manuals on the drivers seat and they were well thumbed by the tech guy.

Thanks again.
