Just be careful about the quality of the headlights and LED lights you look at as some of them are ILLEGAL
Headlights with green DRL ILLEGAL Only allowed white light at front of vehicle apart from indicators. Headlights with direction indicators inbuilt. You will have to disconnect your original indicators as you are only allowed one indicator per side at the front of a vehicle Headlights which are ONLY marked DOT SAE plus an E and a number in a circle. ILLEGAL as they are not approved The easiest way of telling if a headlight is LEGAL and with a GENUINE E mark is if they carry the manufacturers name on them. Legal headlights will have E + number in a circle PLUS a 4-6 digit Approval number Will have letters such as HCR HC/R on the lens Will have a number such as 17.5 on the lens which is peak beam reference index number. If DRL built into light unit it will have the letters RL on them. It will have an arrow on for RHD/LHT UK vehicle. If they are missing then the lights are ILLEGAL. If you wish to come and have a chat with us on stand J14 will explain other things you need to look at. Make a proper INFORMED decision and avoid illegal lights which can result in your vehicle not been roadworthy and your insurance policy been void. Brendan |
