Remember whilst the puma engine is in the transit - it is a VASTLY redesigned engine, both physically and electronically

Whats important is we all have a defender - enjoy it and get on well regardless...me im happy with the puma even if it has any faults (and no radio at the moment)

I was just thinking - When the 300tdi came out there were loads of fault i remember from my time at the factory... Most big companies use the first 12months to fault find...although you cant test for everything. Mike

Is the same problem with ALL engine if you compare EU3 with EU4.....

I remember my as Volvos S60 D5: the first was EU3 and I done 15-16 km/l and it was ver very agressive 165 HP, the second was EU4 (165 HP too)and I done 11-12 km/l but slowest if compared with the first expecially in 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) or in V gear (during WOT in the pass operations)

Quite funny,

EU4 have less emissions but had more fuel consumption: That means more CO2 in to the atmosphere.
Not good for the global warming issue I can said.
