after almost 7 years and 95k miles I feel like the old girl just keeps getting better. the 'to do list' keeps getting longer too and I'm contemplating how to do a 'nut n bolt' rebuild while minimising down time ie in stages?
but here she is after fitting her new shoes Click image to enlarge and recently in Spain; Click image to enlarge 'new' gearbox, transfer box, adapter shaft, clutch plate, slave cylinder and rear diff installed; Click image to enlarge |

I kinda like the idea of doing it before it really needs it making a much easier proposition. for example there are some patches (only) of rust that can be sorted now before they reach the paint work which is on show.
After 100k miles and 7 years I feel she needs some attention - a bit of a refresh. |

bit have......but only bits. it'll be an opportunity to clean, paint and wax in all the nooks and crannies. fit the carpets better. change things like wing mirror arms, paint the Xmember etc etc. |

glad you spotted it. it's one of the two new 'blocks' (start of my rebuild ) that fixes the windscreen to bulkhead - previously hinges. not sure what the correct name is but it's them blocks that tend to rust. |
