Well after what seems like months of searching I have finally found my new 110. At one point I was considering vehicles in the far North West or the West country (300 miles away) when this turned up 10 miles from my home at a very friendly dealer in Essex. The 110 is a 2010 USW with 54k on the clock, one owner originally from near Norwich.
The photo shows the 110 on the drive with my 200tdi. Its been really interesting contrasting the two vehicles. The mods have already started, so far I have moved over the rear military over-riders with reversing sensors (the rear vision is really poor compared to the 200) and I have fitted a genuine cargo barrier. This weekend I will be stripping the mud shields from the 200 and re fitting them to the USW. I am also re furbishing the roof rack this weekend and will try to re fit by Monday night. Lots more on my list including a reversing camera and so on. At the same time I will be prepping the 200 tdi for sale having passed its MOT yesterday. Ill post a few more pictures as I work on both 110's on the drive. Ill miss the 200 like mad having owned it for 13 years but i need a vehicle to eat up some motorway miles carry loads and tow my series one from time to time. I hope this one will be as reliable. I thought I recognized a 30/35 rear end,....if I had one I'd have a 1275 engine in it!

Very nice 👍🏻
That's the 110 I'd have if my garage was long enough Looking forward to seeing how your mods progress. Any chance of some pics of the reversing sensors please? They're on my 'to do' list Cheers, Jason |

Hi
Galway apparently. From your comment was Galway dropped in 2010 as an option? |

I cant remember exactly when but roughly that time.
Personally I prefer Galway over Aintree but they are very very similar |

Looks like a purchase from Terry Elliott. His stock is always well prepped. Enjoy!

First having fitted the roof rack - the ladder Click image to enlarge20170903_115759 by Richard Holmes, on Flickr Then onto fitting a reversing camera - much measuring then drilling 20170903_115750 by Richard Holmes, on Flickr Added a gromit after opening the hole a bit more Click image to enlarge20170903_120156 by Richard Holmes, on Flickr Click image to enlarge20170903_122501 by Richard Holmes, on Flickr I think the colour helps hide the camera, then onto the front used a wireless link less wires to run front to back Click image to enlargemonitor by Richard Holmes, on Flickr and finally - 20170828_130537_resized by Richard Holmes, on Flickr Job done! |
