Changing Door Locks
I plan to fit central locking in the near future but I would like to fit new locks before I do this.

I asked at LR how much and was surprised when I was told it is cheaper to buy 5 rather than 3.

I have had a look in Rave can't find instructions for door locks.

So any idea on how much needs to be taken off to change the locks?

Remove door card and peel back water shedder to expose inside of door handle. Using pliers and a thin-ish screwdriver, tease off the spring clip that holds the activation bar to the cam lever on the end of the lock. Remove the screw from the centre of the back of the lock barrel and it will slide out towards the outside.

Reverse the procedure to install the new lock barrel.

Sounds convoluted but will become obvious when you can see it.

Thanks, I looked through the search system the other week and didn't find anything. Been away for a few days and now looking to do the work. Oh Well.
