I don't have any experience with them but I don't think i've ever heard anyone say anything bad about OME

Just a thought, if you're still on stock suspension have you got the brown and purple springs or the green and white springs?
The standard ones are colour coded from the factory with some dobs of paint on each spring, white and green being lighter duty than brown and purple. If you have the white and green ones then an easy and cheap upgrade would be to the brown and purple. The stiffer ones were fitted to some station wagons and the utility Defenders. My hardtop came with the purple and brown ones as default, and I've just changed to the green and white ones because even when I was loaded up for camping they were still too hard. I seem to be able to go away with enough supplies for 3 weeks and still have a lighter Defender than most people going away for a weekend |

I have a 110 and with roof tent, roll cage, winch bumper and winch it was looking a bit low:
Click image to enlarge I got the rear OME2754 and front DA8924 sets and here you see it much higher with roof tent not on: Click image to enlarge Most obvious on the front. When installing them the jacks made it such that the axles were well and truly fully articulated - in this state the standard shocks appeared to be ok and handling the full compression/extension. I'm about 80% sure I removed the anti roll bars to get in this state also. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

When I changed my springs I couldn't get anything like the full droop with my stock shock absorbers, they were definitely the limiting factor. I had to take the shocks off to get the springs out. The first side I tried to do just using spring compressors and I couldn't. The second side I started by taking the shock off and didn't need the spring compressors. |

Well, I was under a time pressure to get it done so i's entirely possible I didn't take full stock of the axle situation in the process - but in saying that I do recall the moment where I thought 'this is working', but not the details...
I'm happy for now, if I do remove the ARBs I'll revisit it all. (Hopefully by then I'll have new shocks anyway 🤗) Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... Last edited by agentmulder on 23rd Aug 2017 8:26am. Edited 1 time in total |

I'm running OME 2767 front springs with 60037 shocks and OME 2755 rear springs with 60039 shocks.
The lift was about 1 inch (ish) It levelled out the overall height as it was always sitting too high in the back end. Ride is excellent both empty, and when all geared up. (have a fairly heavy front bumper, often have the roof top tent on back, plus a fridge and assorted gear) I had the OME set up on my NAS 90 for 12 years, no issues, (yes, the shocks actually lasted that long). I highly recommend the OME set up. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge it's a Landrover thing... my renovation thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40792.html |

Mine was all OME, I had a +1" on the front to level it off. I rang Derrick at LRS, told him what I was using the 110 for, no winch etc and he specced it up. |
