what you selling Jay? Im currently in the Canary islands for a few weeks so took the opportunity for the 110 to be sent to the garage to have the external roll cage fitted and the winch wired up and fitted with rope, and a new Airflow meter to correct the EML light that stays on, Also replace the rotten air con condenser. hoping for progress pics off my mechanic! once I return the only thing left should be to get it remapped with hybrid turbo and new Samco hoses and poss a new intercooler as the current one has been welded a few times! plus actually get it painted so the roof matches the rest of the body work hahaha 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

Weather looks spot on.
The container is mine i have 36 of them that we rent out. I think they're 100 quid a month at the moment. Secure yard with cameras and electronic entry. |

Finally back in UK and collected my defender.
Cage needs painting etc but its on finally 5 months after I bought it!
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Next item is to modify the rock sliders so they clear the roll cage chassis brackets and fabricate a new air intake as the roll cage is also in the way of the standard intake. So ill have to get my thinking cap on and see what options there are such as the nugget stuff sealed air intake or the southdown snorkel thru the top of the wing or fabricate a stainless steel one from top of screen round inside of cage thru bonnet edge like the challenge boys do. Got a pair of Laser ST8's for £500 off a friend so they'll go above windscreen now ive got rid of the chinese spots I had on the front bumper due to failing LED's The hybrid turbo is still sitting in the garage waiting for the right moment as I think I need to replace the cheap intercooler for a Allisport one with samco hoses first as the current full width intercooler and standard hoses has split a few times now and thats only on standard boost lol

Bought some gear the last week!
Got two Laser RS8 light bars to fit above screen to the roll cage using the cage tube X-Clamps I bought off ebay for £13 a pair. Also bought a new Allisport intercooler so Just need some Samco hoses next week then its off to Alive for the hybrid turbo to be fitted, also strong remap to be put on along with uprated airflow meter. Cant wait to see the transformation as ive been waiting long enough lol think the last thing will be the Syncro slick shift and thats the running gear done for now.

first time in 14 months of owning it and doing 40,000 miles, its gone bang!
transfer box was whining then eventually grinding/shuddering and burning smoke coming off the casing so looks like the oil boiled off! managed to creep off a grid locked M5 south onto the slip in low box diff locked! So i need a transfer box if anyone has one spare!
here she is looking sorry for herself, she's now at home sitting on the trailer about to be dropped to the garage this morning.
