Funny you mention that
my other 90 has brand new 37" KM2 tyres on 17" twisted style alloys! I could swap these over to the 110 and see how it sits haha. but I do too much motorway and quarry work in it that I dont think it'll be practical!  Click image to enlarge Ive just returned from a 5am start from cardiff to manchester with trailer to pick up the cage and back for 12 not bad going I think for over 400 miles in one morning! Taken me a while but a 5am start in South Wales had me in manchester for 7.59am at Matt's place of Auto Carriage services, a well known defender breaker/rebuilder, to pick up a defender 110 CSW roll cage.
This is it on my return to Cardiff at 12 noon not bad going for a nearly 400 mile round trip with a trailer lol.
Oh edited to add, I've since cleaned the rads out and blimey there was a lot of  that came out, mostly grit and sand that it seems to cope much better now, only time will tell when i use the trailer again.
I am really enjoying the precise steering the new track rod ends and gwyn lewis sumo bars are giving me the speed limiter not so much so i really need to get around to fitting the new hybrid turbo and Alive Remap I want for it lol.
Handy to have a 3000 sq ft unit thats lying empty and unused

Fitted my Goodwinch 9.5 TDS into the D44 bumper finally and removed the failed chinese LED spots as I got a pair of Lazer
ST8's on the way
Took some cutting of the AC grille where the metal lower grille sits, it clears the fan housing on the AC condenser by MM's! phew, nice and tight which is how I like it and why I got the non AC bumper. Just need to wire them up and fit the 9mm Marlow winch rope with comp hook, brand new off eBay for £80 delivered 
Hopefully the full external cage is being fitted next week.....

Bought these off eBay for £23 delivered, came in a britpart bag but clearly marked X Eng!
X Trouser door latch to stop you ripping those trousers and belt loops! Fitted them in 5 minutes, TOP tip, take one bolt out and undo second just enough to swing old metal latch away leaving the white plastic spacer where it sits on the pillar and put new latch on and bolt back up tight then undo the second bolt and take old latch off while keeping the 1st one tight and swing new latch down over 2nd hole and bolt back up hey presto no adjustment needed and door shut perfect first go! tried to pick up trailer yesterday to take it to the garage for a full service and drop the roll cage off so it could be fitted but the storage place had other ideas even though i was the only customer, some knob cheese had isolated all the roller shutter doors with the key which has never happened before!
I naturally turned up but the warehouse alarms were sounding so i thought strange as its Securitas 24hr response so i opened the door but let alarm sound, the control pad said it went off 17.30 yesterday and it was 8.30am saturday and no response, luckily all windows and fire exits and ground floor grilles were all intact so my trailer and cage were still where I left it! seems it was a power cut that caused the drama, but to make matters worse my mrs cooked a chicken ramen curry with extra chilli so i was caught short so answered call of nature in the toilet but water been disconnected! so in the bloody heat of summer I've got to go back tuesday, earliest opportunity with a bucket of water to flush it away and its gonna be bad!!!! not my luck this week, landlord promised to ask who locked the door switches off, Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) Last edited by Welshsurferdude on 20th Nov 2019 7:37pm. Fitted my new stainless steel mesh grille earlier, got it for £100 from Defender Upgrades based in Caerphilly. came with clear instructions and all fixings needed to fit, cleared my winch by millimetres lol, looks great now  maybe get some black allen head bolts to make em stand out less than the ones supplied with grille.
Had a good clean and valet after walters arena last weekend, just need to T Cut then wax it as its heavily tree marked at the mo! Its booked in with my mechanic next friday for the external roll cage to be fitted, can't wait
