I just treat my Ninety as a 10 gallon tank.
Fill it up when the pump light comes on.

Ten Hours of Paint Drying
Ah here it is, just for you gilarion Thumbs Up

I thought that the shrinkage of the paint skin two hours in was wonderful and I swear you could almost feel the thixotropy of the paint become less viscous at three hours forty. Thumbs Up  For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

All cars seem to sit at full for ages then speed down the guage at a rate directly related to the number of cylinders. I heard that this is a deliberate thing done by car makers to make drivers feel good for longer after they fill up. Sounds believable to me. Doesn't cost anything, and makes you feel good.

I once had a mk4 Cortina 2.0l GL.......(when it was about 3 years old) and as per all Fords of that era the fuel gauge was marked with half, three quarters and full all rammed into one end of the scale. Once you filled it up and drove for miles and nothing changed but eventually it went into freefall from what you would have thought was 3/4 full to empty in front of your eyes! Happy days.
