Unscrewing the 6 screws and taking off the cover plate will give you access to the moving parts inside the pedal box so you may be able to get some oil in there? Matt.

I have oiled in there and even fitted a grease nipple into the shaft. I do believe its further down the line. Thanks for the reply. |

This thread may be helpful, although you say you have done the grease nipple mod. Have you tried lithium grease?

Probably the release arm on its pivot inside the bellhousing. Mine does it too, though I can't hear it when driving.
The pivot and arm can wear, so replacement if necessary and a good helping of grease next time you're fiddling inside the bellhousing should sort it. |
