Thanks for the update, I took mine to the dealer and they replaced the drum, and reset the cable to near factory spec, although it was 4 clicks to engage, but the problem came back. I have tried your solution and all seems good. My only concern is that I am now out of thread / adjustment on the cable end and have had to back the actuator on the drum an extra quarter turn to get rid of the judder. It is only on long runs, 400 miles, that the heat seems to build up enough, I wonder if the outer is expanding at a different rate to the inner cable and dragging it on. |
