I have booked the next two days off, so hopefully I should make some good progress over the next 4 days! Also ordered a boost pin and a timing spacer for the fuel pump, hopefully get that done next weekend! 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW 1956 Series 1 Hard-top 1958 Series 1 Soft-top |

Every time I see something that's been Raptored, it reminds me of flocked wallpaper... Darren

I really like the finish, not quite sure how some people have managed a "smooth" finish though 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW 1956 Series 1 Hard-top 1958 Series 1 Soft-top |

It's still the original paint but it did have CSW transfers which have been removed at some point, still debating with myself on whether to get some new transfers made up at the moment... 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

Yeah, I really can't decide what to get, I change my mind every 5 mins.
I'm so close to putting this back together now, I really wanted to go it done this weekend but the waxoiling is taking longer than i'd expected (I did have the argument with my dad about Dinitrol being reportedly better but I couldn't be bothered pushing the point): Replaced the old broken aerial Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Cleaned and sprayed the seatbox covers (all 3) Click image to enlarge Replaced all the broken door card cover pins Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Cleaned up all the seat bases Click image to enlarge Repaired the battery box Click image to enlarge Repaired the seat belt mounting points Click image to enlarge Repaired seat box corner Click image to enlarge All back in Click image to enlarge Finished off mounting the fuel filler and trim Click image to enlarge Before wax oiling Click image to enlarge During and after getting covered in waxoil! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge This is the reason why the gwyn lewis mud guards are a good idea, all stuck up the side and back of the front wing Click image to enlarge Nice shot of the vinyard while it wasn't peeing it down Click image to enlarge Also bought a dynamic timing advance spacer kit for the pump and a mason boost pin, to hopefully make it go a little bit quicker without melting anything. I'm still making my mind up about the EGT gauge as I'm unsure if I want to spoil the OEM look of the cabin space. My wolf wheels are taking forever and a day to come, should hopefully be here for the next weekend! Also trying to decide if I want to take the risk of buying a britpart rear wheel carrier or go for the mantac... since im going to modify it and paint it with raptor... im sure this would invalidate the mantac/britpart warranty? 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW 1956 Series 1 Hard-top 1958 Series 1 Soft-top |

Vineyard ??!!!! Do you make wine when you aren't messing with the LR?
It's coming along great... I've got a combined boost and EGT gauge to fit... its not quite oem looking but not far off.. unfortunately is was very expensive, not helped by having to pay £69 import tax.... I will be interested to see what improvements the boost pin makes.. I was looking at one, or turning my standard one, although I'm a bit apprehensive about tinkering with the engine... 1993 200Tdi Defender 90 |

looking great there kit, did you see the amount of soil i removed from mine? you could have used it to pot a plant with! i am sure there is more still to remove, you may be right about those guards, the rear cross member area, where the rear indicators are, is a mud trap!
