plan would be
-swap to correct wheels -strip paint off all the galvanised bits that should be showing (i think) on a C reg -mechanical fettle up -repaint exterior in Trident -convert to soft top engine seems fine but I have a 4 litre RPI rebuild ready to go what are the chances of an LT85 surviving a bit more power? cheers |

Go for it, genuine 90 V8's and not that thick on the ground these days, looks a good project and Trident green is a nice period colour. my 85 is slate grey and will be having a makeover this winter.
I would say the LT85 will handle a bit more power, they are an agricultural box but quite strong but ok if you take the gear changes slow and smooth. Is that a plastic Land Rover badge on the rear or a stick on decal? |
