I'd be inclined to mention BT Openreach as I believe they do a lot of telephone pole work.
Quite how you'd get in contact I'm not sure. I'm not entirely sure as to their suitability to your project with Creosote treatments used. I would try the classified ads in Farmers Weekly or one of the Farming Free Ad papers usually available in country stores.

eBay, preloved, gumtree seem to have some, but not in your area, have you thought of railway sleepers? Far easier to get hold of and manage. Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200

I've always used grademore.com in Norfolk, I know they deliver in to London but not sure they'd go as far as you?
As above try FW or better still local farming press. As for suitability, we built a telegraph pole lean-to for sheep absolutely fine. New pole do smell a lot, I know because BTS have a store of new pole right next to us! But weathered second hand poles should be OK. Try Western Power Distribution - they are removing poles in various villages around us here in the Cotswolds as they bury the power cables underground.
The ones with BT lines still attached they cannot remove, and sadly BT seem unwilling to join in the project. |

Hello jonesfrm
All ideas so far are worth a try... I bought 1 from a local Reclamation Yard (along with Railway Sleepers), Reducing the Pole to 2M lengths for the Job in hand (£20) Last year, the local Power Network surveyed a selectivity replaced some Power Poles in our road... (The Power Poles tend to be slightly larger than the BT / Open Reach Poles) Whilst everyone on the crew claimed to be the 'Boss'... I bought 5 for £50 and they dropped these exactly in the right place... Click image to enlarge Good Luck SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

You might want a few more then!! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.
