Rear LED lights
Hi,

Anybody know where I can buy some SVX style rear LED lights? Land Rover are quoting more than £500!

Currently have Wipac LEDs but feel like they look quite cheap and glitzy.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Stephan

Probably right. And when you compare the prices and you see that Mobilecentre is a price everything that is needed included, but with Mud you still have to buy the plinth for each lamp separately at 9.60£ a piece, the first is going to work out better too. I have bought things from both companies, always good experiences, but Mobilecentre also are a site sponsor on here.

P.S. I suggested that you would read that copied thread carefully, just be aware that you may have to drill new holes in your rear panels for these 95mm plinths. Not exactly plug 'n play compatible if you have standard lights now. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

You don't have to drill holes in the rear panel! Just drill holes in the plinth to match your existing rear panel clips. Ray

i purchased mine from Dun Bri Group. Genuine Perei make. Really good price. Found some plinths on eBay (correct ones) and then a bit of wiring and sourced connectors ,as luckily this is my line of work. All in about £210
But as recommended on here by others, the kits supplied ready to go are also good and will save you money Thumbs Up 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Is it possible to screw the rear lights from the back? If I'm going to spend several £100s on lights I want to make sure they are at least thief proof!

I'm not really sure how you'd do it. You could just buy some security screws and screw them in from the front as usual. Obiously all security screws have tools readily availiable to undo them, but it makes it a bit more difficult for the oportunist in a car park.

Alloy plinths and lights from CSI parts, Great stuff I like them (still need to change the fog and reverse light plinth)

I've just had an email from Thomas at CSI saying he's getting some of the plinths machined up next week to fit perei lights after I gave him all the measurements. Thumbs Up Ray
