Springs
I am thinking of changing the springs on my 1993 200Tdi 90. At them moment I have handed springs.. Is it important when replacing them to keep them handed as a lot of replacements don't mention that they are. I don't want to end up with a leaning Landy... Are the newer model Defenders more centrally weighted/balanced than the older ones?
Thanks 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

Newer 90s will be more balanced than older ones as with the Td5 came a centrally mounted fuel tank. As opposed to tdi and older which have fuel tanks under the O/S seat box.

That said I think that newer defenders still have handed springs Thumbs Up

When I researched the details of the Alive springs that gave to me with the defender when I got it, I discovered they are not handed for puma engine but are for before this. I can recommend the Alive srings.

Thanks ProloForet.. I read your posts and review on the springs. The only thing that puts me off the Alive ones is the price, £400 with Vat and delivery... Although they are still on my list as they get good reviews. 1993 200Tdi Defender 90
