1991 Defender 110 200 Tdi DCPU Aintree Green

Defender 3.5 v8 oil cooler help

Hello all, I have been towing with my 3.5 v8 110 and I am thinking of fitting an oil cooler, has any one fitted one? Where can I get one that will fit a defender because I can only find them for range Rovers.

Do you mean engine oil cooler or gearbox oil cooler? Engine oil I believe you can get them off the NAS spec models (Allisport) GB cooler, Ashcroft

I fitted one on my 3.5v8 last year - there are various options as bankz laid out. I went with allisport - not quick but superb quality and worth waiting for.

It is possible to buy a radiator which incorporates an engine oil cooler, it is also possible to buy oil coolers for both the LT77 and R380 gearboxes and you can fit an extended sump to the transfer box
