Vented brake discs
Hello

My 110 needs new pads and the discs are low.

While I get the pads changed I'm thinking fit some discs also.

Std Discs (rear) appear to be around £30 a pair.

Just been on John Craddock and vented, drilled and grooved would be £100 a pair. so £70 more. however I guess with my mileage should last a good few years,..

Is there any? benefit in getting these over ordinary ones? I;ve had high performance cars that have had these in the past but this is a truck... albeit a heavy one. I am thinking of getting the remap and oil cooler etc soon

Thanks

Don't you need different callipers to go from standard to vented discs, as they're thicker? Darren

Don't buy them!
They arrive in blue boxes, look good but that's it.

They do fit standard callipers.

I had 2 sets warp both under 5,000 miles
First set I thought just unlucky,
Second set just took the Censored to be honest..... Neutral 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered.

If your 110 is newer than 1994 or so it should have vented front discs as standard. Rears will be solid, and there will be no benefit to converting to vented.

Drilled/grooved are a waste of time in my opinion also. It's not like you're going to be driving it like a racing car.
