^ 18 months ago I thought lets swap a perfectly good German Estate car for a Defender...
18 months on, I have done up a Sankey Trailer for the LR and bought a Series 3 to start doing up, never mind being out after I get the kids to bed fitting stuff to the defender... ooh FORGOT an important point. Change ALL delivery's to your work address and then if you have a better half they don't keep asking what are these box's. Luckily my wife is as up for these cars as I am |

One of the best value modifications is to change the front wiper relay to give variable intermittent wipe. It is a straight swap, so totally reversible and no drilling or cutting required.
Buy new eg http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/defender-programmable-wiper-relay.html or buy second hand. google " 99 relay" |

Do some research with the search facilities. Look at layers of security; pedal locks, trackers, datatag/smartwater, relocated bbus, possibly uprated alarm/immobiliser, security hinges.... Unfortunately the list goes on. Just do what you can to deter the their. As above, easiest would be a steering lock, pedal lock Then trackers, lots about I've just bought one for £30 and can put a SIM card in it. It's only after I bought a defender I realised how desirable they are to low life's... Search for disc lock or steering lock, they may only slow them down but better than nothing...might make them move on Post a picture of your new truck also |

Do you mind to sharing the details of this? For me this looks a very intersting price for what I understand is a device to follow the vehicle. Normally, at in France always, these device are very expensive with subscriptions. The "Tracker Mesh Net" here is used by the police agencies but expensive. |

Hello
sure its this one, I first spotted it in a local car spare shop for £60 and looking at it, it have geo-fencing, map updates, all the features that seem useful. Read some reports and basically for £30 looks great, I have not fitted it yet but will soon, (Short story I broke my phone and until I get a new one as I'm borrowing one I have not installed the app) This is it.. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Quick look on ebay most are £50 now? but search around http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Streetwise-Gps-T...Sw3gJZKGaf Thanks |

480 miles later and I finally got her home. Already in love. Lights were upgraded immediately.
