2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Chawton White

Starting problems

Since a while the rig does not want to start irrespective of a warm or cold engine. Happens "randomly" and resembles a low battery situation. Tends to cranck at first but then it dies, and in the next try does nothing. Usually after another 2-3 trials or 20-30 secs is go off like nothing. I do not think it is starter selenoid.

Could this related to the immbolizer? Feature I have not studied actually.

Any clues?

iv had this before if you remove the key and lock the vehicle then unlock it it should clear its self thats what i did anyway and it worked

Failed to start

MK, I've had the same happen to me, what I found works for me is to remove the key and activate the alarm and then de-activate the alarm. Never failed to start after that. John
