Finding 2015 XS front seats uncomfortable
Getting a numb bum on longer journeys. Anyone else had a similar problem? I'm wondering if it's a faulty seat or just poor design. Affects front passenger too.

Following on, do any seat companies do part exchange, or is it ebay to sell?

Thanks
Andrew

Yes, I had the same problem with my 1/2 leather XS seats on my 110

Later, the high back 'Premium Leather' seats on my 90... they were much much better, but still the base was too short for me.

Solved it all now with my Recaro CS seats from Twisted. Thumbs Up YOLO... You Only Live Once...

£2500! Bit over my budget.

Anyone tried extending the seats with these: http://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/extended-defender-seat-base.html

I found fitting seat rail extenders made a significant improvement for me.

The slight lift and stretched leg is more supported.

I'm 6' 2" and although I had to look around the B pillar I would slide the seat right back for longer journeys.

I've done 10 hour runs with XS seats and fallen out of the seat at fuel stations, what people must have thought as I staggered from the Defender.

I must confess my latest has both Recaro's and rail extenders.

I fitted the premium leather heated seats from OEM and they are great really comfy and very supportive.
Also got £100 exchange on my cloth and vinyl van seats.
Make a massive difference to comfort and really well made "Of Course, Of course, I ain't asking . I'm telling!!"
