Start up problem. 2.4 Puma 110
New to this site so.. Hi All!
Any help appreciated.

Today, got in key turned and the temp gauge shot up to highest position and the vehicle wouldn't start.. nothing, not a sound when attempting to turn over. Turned key off, on again.. same. Temp gauge to the top and no start. All electrics were working.

I closed my door, central locked it and unlocked it and it was fine again. Started no problem.

10 min later, it did the same again. Didn't start and the temp gauge on highest. Eventually it let me start it by trying a few times.

Anyone familiar with this fault??

Much appreciated.

JP.

Common problem, there are many threads on this and similar problems.

Check that the relays under the driver's seat are really secure and well connected as a first step.
