Hello
People have fitted the ultra gauge in this gap, tricky but can be done. I just use it here Click image to enlarge works very well but the built in method look factory |

Sorry if this is OT but what is the steering wheel you have Stacey007? - I'm not familiar with Pumas, is this standard and if so how many splines on the column?? I'm looking to replace the worn one on my DCPU and like the look of this one.

Thanks - it looks great but not £450 great...
Think I'll stick to the standard factory leather version then I won't be so worried about getting mud and claret on it... |

The ultraguage unit plugs into the port where the dealers plug into to read fault codes, cable is easily fed behind the dash to the plugs location. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

In a nut shell no you cant. The picture shows a Freelander 2 (high line) or Discovery 3 dash, which LR obviously recycled in a cut down form for the 2007 on Defender. The Freelander 2 and Discovery cluster will fit in the Defender dash but it wont work. As others have pointed out, there are after market displays than can be stuck in the same location. |

Hello
Yes its a Startech wheel around £450 new but I was lucky and found a member selling one half price I heard a Metro wheel is very similar in size. The gauge plugs into the OBDII port just under your right knee. It can be used to reset codes, fault find, or as I use it for MPH, Rev, Temperature etc. As mentioned cable hidden from view Thanks |
