electrical woes
Morning guys......few weeks ago i noticed my reversing lights weren't working .....presumed it was the switch but it turned out to be a fuse. The following day landy wouldn't start.Battery was flat so after charging battery i put a new alternator on it. Last night i noticed the reversing lights were gone again. I changed the fuse and hey presto they worked. However out this morning and the landy wouldn't start. Battery flat and when i checked the fuse was blown again for reversing lights. Is this coincidence or have i a short somewhere?

brake and reversing lamps have switch feed and fused and feed from ignition switch Exclamation so not work with the ignition key out

you need check for short cct in brake and reversing lamp cct see wiring digram as the same fuse is used both

As to your Battery flatting problem

Thanks for the reply and diagram. They dont come on with key out or ignition off but i presume there's a short somewhere. I'll get it checked out

As well as the brake and reversing lights, the same circuit supplies the alternator and speed sensor.

Green/Yellow wire circuit goes from Fuse 6 in the facia fuse box, to header C0292 -

From C0292, it goes to header C0294 -
