Looks great Bomber!! I saw a full Bowler 90 again at the weekend running 16" and thought to myself that I think 16" might be the way to go. James

Bowler's don't have a centre cap. I guess someone has just found a cap that fits, but where from I don't know? Way back in my tyre fitting days, several alloys just had very basic 'tin cups' as centre caps, so I'm sure one could be found to fit relatively easily.

In case its of interest I have just ordered 5 18" Bowlers in Anthracite. Best price (i phoned 3 suppliers + Bowler) was direct from Bowler £1350 + VAT and £30 delivery charge (to Devon). Pretty reasonable, a 10% discount.
Now I need to find some reasonably priced tyres to go on them ! Just been quoted £200 for the usual BFG KO2 265/65/18 ... |

I managed £175 each fitted for the KO2's. Also did a bit better on the wheels but I ordered a few other bits too Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 110 DCPU Mark |

Hi Mark, Yes I certainly could have got a bit more on the wheels as I wanted to order a lightweight bumper and steering guard too, but budget wouldn't stretch to it this month. But they have promised me to 'carry over' the discount when I follow up, which seems fair.
Thanks for the tyre prices, I shall keep calling around |

4x4tyres or Camskill are normally the cheapest online supplier around £161.49 inc vat delivered.
My local tyres supplier quoted me £183.60 fitted and balanced, but these was September last year.
