To anyone with Bowler lightweight sills fitted.....
A couple of quick questions to anyone that has these sills fitted:

1. The original sill was secured to the wheel arch eyebrow with one of those plastic popper fixings. There's no mechanism to do the same with the Bowler sill so the arch / lower wing has lost a little rigidity - not a problem?

2. Am I correct in assuming I'll have to trim the front mud flaps to allow them to fit with the Bowler sill?

There...simple.

Hi Mark,

1. never had a problem - but then I haven't gone looking for one either so a small chance I'm missing something subtle.
2. no didn't have to trim the mud flaps.

cheers

sorry mark - need to correct a mistake - the front mud flaps are indeed notched by 20mm or so - just checked as i left work.

Thumbs Up

That's fine...I was pretty sure mine would need to be trimmed or they'd be rubbing against the sill. 110 DCPU
