Malta 2004 Defender 90 Td5 ST Barolo Black
Defender 110 standard suspension.
I just bought a 2004 double cab td5 110. Currently the 110 has a 2 inch or more lift and i would like to put it back to standard height or enough to fit 255/85 16 tyres, which i guess should fit with standard suspension.

This will be used mainly for road use and unladen. What springs do you suggest fitting for a good ride ?

I've just removed a 2" lift from my 2002 Td5 DCPU which has 265/75R16 tyres. The front springs were standard fit with a spacer underneath (now removed) but the rear springs were yellow (Britpart?) so had to be replaced. I fitted some delivery miles take-off RBK101111 springs from eBay and I'm very happy with the result. The dampers were fine so they've been reused but it was a complete ball-ache to undo the bottom nuts from the front set. It would've been a lot quicker to cut them off and fit a new set.

Also, you could contact the various tuning companies. They tend to sell on the parts they remove at reasonable prices. I bought a full set of springs and dampers from twisted. 2002 110 td5

Indeed, my virtually new genuine LR rear springs came from https://www.trekoverland.com for £60 the pair inc delivery.
