Ah yes, that would probably help
I have a TD5 90 and have purchased the spring kit that replaces the one on the clutch pedal , and makes it easier on the leg to use the clutch I don't have part numbers to hand as there in the workshop at the mo Hope that helps  |

oh ok, in that case its very easy to do in my experience, as long as you are happy working upside down with little light in cramped places. Cheers

I concur
 . Easy job. Oh, and don't chuck the bits you have - no worries on genuine or otherwise for this mod. I didn't need to remove pedals or clutch cylinder, but the carpet can get in the way a bit.

I did it on ours. Really makes a difference. If you remove the master cylinder its dead simple (apparently).
My wee write up is attached. I just used a few clamps and a zip ties, went together in the end.

Wear some mechanix gloves or similar. I've done 3 and each time I smash my knuckles to bits trying to force the spring in!
Blue bag is fine, just a spring! It is very fiddly trying to get the spring in, I actually had to cut the straight parts down a little as they where slightly too long to ever have a hope of fitting. Bit of wood to force the pedal down helps a bit too |

Well
Had a go this afternoon, Did all the mentioned tricks of zip ties and blocks of wood etc, cheers for those
All fitted ok As soon as I release the pedal, the spring flips sideways and the long prongs come out of the plastic bushes , This happened many times this afternoon 
Any ideas chaps ? As I needed the vehicle for work I have re fried the original for now Cheers |

Sorry to hijack thread but does anyone have a part number for the plastic U shaped bush that fits in the pedal ? I managed to bust mine when fitting it.

Cancel that, just found it despite trying for the last week or so !
It is CLP3180 incase anyone else needs it. Another mod well worth doing that I discovered on this forum |

Well, they stick all the way through, but as soon as the cable ties are released and the pedal let up, they pull there selves out immediately
I will have another look over the weekend when I don't need the truck for work I'll take some pics of mine in position and once released Bacon bury and a brew is offered to anyone that's done one before and passing by

I believe that you can fit the spring upside down which may have that effect, try turning it the other way if that makes sense! Jeff
