Nice collection!!! If you were lucky enough to get a 991 RS allocation then a £150K car turned into a £240K car overnight! Enough to pay for a few Defenders!
If I'd have gone for a 997.2 RS I'd have picked the same colour as your mate, Grey Black (yes, it's actually called that!). 110 DCPU Mark |

I'd be happy with that garage, never mind the cars.

In all that automotive marvellousness above what I'm loving is the Raleigh Chopper in the corner! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

I am stopping in Fontainebleau in France this weekend and talk with a new owner of a 110. It is the last new 110 to become registered in France. It is basic specification with things like steel wheels and no carpets.
He is paying 52000euro + the malus tax of 8000euro He is shocked when I tell him the comparison price in UK is so low for us. |

He's being ripped off then (Quelle surprise en France) he could find a low mileage or as new special edition here for less than that, and what's with the tax? I didn't pay any import tax last year when 2014 90 was registered? All I paid was the usual carte grise fee. Mine came from a JLR dealership in Italy and imported by the French dealer I bought it from. My OH also imported a 2012 90 from the UK last year and again no tax.
When I bought mine here in France last year, I had a good look at similar spec cars in the UK and the price compared favourably, so I dont agree that they are a lot more expensive here. Yes of course as everywhere you get the chancers who ask stupid money for vehicles especially in the used and knackered market. |

The eco tax is only for cars in first registration. If the car is classification CTTE (no seats in back) then this tax is not there or reduction where the vehicle is not new.
This one the man had was not before registration until this year from Paris dealer stock. Last one they have according the man. It have seats in back so must pay the 8000euro. Hollande increased this tax a good amount to kill the 4x4 selling. To do the registration french of my UK defender is 380euro (where you live gives definition of price of this). If I am buying before Brexit vote I buy in France but the man I buy from want £ and it was after vote. £ cheap now so working good for me. Comparison price for one here is perhaps 5000euro more now but of course the wheel is on wrong seat side but I don't care of that when driving in the foret. |

The classification confuses me as both our 90's have factory fitted rear seats but both are classed as CTTE.
OH's is RHD and drives me mad. I prefer LHD. |

On the french forum some people have this CTTE when it is station wagon. It is not their mistake, it is a problem with the prefecture when dossier arrives.
Some on french forum have this and people always say careful the police don't stop you for tax if they see rear seats with CTTE tab but nobody in once instance can recall a single example of that happening. Not on Land rover forums or renault forums. The police could not be bothering with this. If the prefecture make an error and you don't tell lie then no problem for you with tax collector. |
