Yes, had to do this to get the bubble trapped in the line where it goes up and over the ECU on my puma 2.4. Design is just asking for it IMO Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

So went to move it this evening...
Had parked nose in so thought ignition off, low range, into reverse, clutch pushed down for good measure, start. All went well and found I had a small amount of clutch control at the very end of the travel, enough to come out of reverse and into first, then second for some very slow manoeuvring out of parking area. Could also take it out of low range and back into high, all be it really pushing the pedal down and onto first, second and all the way home. Once arrived though would not select reverse, a few pumps of the pedal and reverse engaged, controlled and now parked up. Does this information focus the diagnosis any further and thank you once again for all the input? |

Confirms hydraulic leak as pressure gained by pumping. Cheers

So looking on the bay, very little listed specifically for the 2.4 / TDci and suspect the part has not changed for many years.
This listing seems to confirm that at this early hour. Can any one confirm this item will be OK? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFEN...0939408761 |

Ebay link seems fine here.
Anyway, thanks for your link, they offer these: ![]() Any preference jump out, tempted to go for above average with the TWR item or should I stick with genuine and pay the premium or just go with the Bearmach one at £10 |

Yes but just wondered if members would be as happy with the Bearmach branded one as the others?

So... have been advised that it is prob a "pin" they may have said in slave cylinder and if doing that might as well do full clutch kit at the same time so what I hoped would be £50 on now looks like £500 ish.

I did new clutch on mine, but it depends...
mi/kms on your current? In my case they made the decision after they opened it, I got the old clutch back to see ... I guess they could have given me anything, but I trust these folk enough to not think on it. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |
