Hi Pickles. Basic is definitely the word!
Haven't got any decent pics I'm afraid, but here's one of the interior and during build: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Jeez, Have a look at that engine bay.....Mate, that is mint.
And I'll bet that the driving experience is so much better with that V8 throbbing away up front? Beautiful. Pickles. |

I totally agree on all points, that is one fabulously tidy looking Landy Steve...
AND it is Green... How long (and how much if you don't mind the bare-faced cheek) has this re-build taken you... Either way, much kudos and respect to you sir, for turning out a truly beautiful end result... Rog... The GREEN One... I love it. Just awesome, I think it deserves a thread of it's own somewhere a real credit to you. Pete

Not much in the way of updates recently, mostly due to this little dude arriving and keeping me busy (alongside a house restoration project):
Click image to enlarge I gave the 110 a good pressure wash, clayed the paint and sorted a few rusty bits at the weekend. Still scrubs up ok! Click image to enlarge Only mods recently are having the wheels refinished in RAL9001 cream: Click image to enlarge and some retro galvanised rear grab handles / bumperettes: Click image to enlarge Other than that, just enjoying it! Next planned mods are a Mantec steering guard (the factory tubular one is starting to look a bit rusty) and some stainless or galvanised mudflap brackets (originals going rusty). Nothing very exciting I'm afraid! |

Steve, nice vehicle. What about the roof painted in the same color as the wheels?

Yes, must admit I'm thinking about it - the roof tent is fading a bit so am keen to get the fibreglass shell painted to match, maybe I should get the roof done too...
