What's best to cover new galvanised parts with?

Hi, I'm about to embark on swapping over my old second row bench seats to the newer Tdci ones. I am going to purchase the various parts for the swap from YRM. Mid crossmember, brackets, new upstaged and support, side panels, wheel box fronts etc etc. Might be taking the rear tub floor up to better access the chassis for the main chassis bracket and can remove fuel tank and treat the chassis while I am at it.

Main question is what is best to cover the new galvanised parts in to protect them. Was thinking of covering them all in Buzzweld CIO paint and then Dinitrol/Buzzweld the rest of the chassis as well.

Would this be the best way ahead? Thanks

Any galvanised parts I have had, I first T wash them or use an etch primer followed by a few spray coats of Hammerite Satin Black. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I can recommend POR15. Like another galva cover, very strong.
After, If you hang your parts in the sun then the coulour will change over time. You prevent this with top coating what you want. If no direct sun then you can leave POR15 like that. On top of galva you will never see rust again.

I think it is german brand. Like hammerite but much superior.

If it's in you budget, powder coat your galvanized parts. No issues with adhesion, UV stable.

I did the on all my underside steel components. Seat frame cross member, fuel filter cover, tank guard and strap... basically anything steel got the double layer treatment., then Dinitrol.

A couple hundred years from now, there will be nothing left of the truck, other than a various pile of new looking parts surrounded by powdered aluminium
