Might has right. The key is part of the car. Get stroppy with your dealer and LR customer services. LR cust serv should be able to sort it for you by talking to your dealer direct.

Both the ignition and key is part of the car as genuine parts.
Check the warranty booklet to see if it specifically EXCLUDES the key...they beat them with that. Mike |

I had my ignition barrel drivers lock, and rear door lock swapped out under warranty for EXACTLY the same reason! If they want to quip about it get them to pull the history on MAL 922W and they can see themselves!!! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

lyon99, would the dealer in question be Stratstones of Perth or Cupar? This is just a guess based on the total w####r quote If so I suggest you give Morrisons of Stirling or Taggarts in Motherwell a phone call and explain the situation to them. The key and barrel are part of the vehicle and are covered under warranty. Morrisons would be the closest to you, but I use Taggarts in Motherwell and cannot fault them for warranty work, which may have something to do with the number of Landrover garages in the central belt
First thing Monday morning I would be onto LR customer services explaining the service you have received and ask them what are they going to do about it taking nothing less than the keys and locks being replaced under warranty. |

My 110 was serviced this week and the dealer changed all the locks under warranty. I only asked them to check the back door lock for corrosion and they changed the lot. I would expect the lock to be replaced if you are still in warranty.
Anyway....LRA are on there way over now to look at problem with the steering column. I wonder why Paul Pondering a New 90 Commercial 2020 Evoque * 2014 110 SW JE Stage 2. *2010 110 Utility. JE Stage 2. *2007 110 SW *2003 90 JE Stage 2. *2000 90 SW If its not leaking it ain't full. |
