its a mega fuse designed to blow if you get a short to earth on the positive cable before the cable melts or the battery explodes or the car catches fire , no problem removing it but you loose all the protection mentioned if you do get an earth on the main cable DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

Makes total sense thank you. So one can use a different type fuse then instead if you like. Like an inline one.
What Amps would you recommend? And then I would assume to place it first inline out from out of the batteries + terminal. Joe |

If you open it, the rating should be printed on the fuse its self.

there was another thread on here and I think it was said it is 400 amps also shown on the drawings but please check
