The paint came from eBay - a seller called 'paint-my-classic. The colour of mine is Arles (sometimes called Windjammer) blue. Darren

Yeah, I've also bought a tin of coach enamel from Paintman, but they don't do aerosols. Darren

Sorry, failing memory. Paintman do sell aerosols but I paid far less from eBay - £16.99 as opposed to £23.34. Darren

Today, I installed my rear worklight, although it did involve a few backward steps. I completed the control box that I showed earlier but wasn't happy with the result. It was all just too congested:
Click image to enlarge So, a bigger box and mark two was born. This time, I included an extra switch that will be used for some internal lights: Click image to enlarge The box is mounted on the outside of the drivers side rear light cluster cover and makes use of the hole that the rear door electrics used to pass through. They'll be re-routed through a notch that I've made in the edge of the panel: Click image to enlarge The bottom switch is the manual/off/auto control for the work light. The middle switch controls the Hella socket on the outside of the box and its' associated indicator light. The upper switch will eventually control some internal lighting. Inside the panel is mounted a six way fuse board and a connector that will allow me to unplug the entire panel: Click image to enlarge Here's the wiring diagram, less my extra switch: Click image to enlarge And the whole thing fixed in place: Click image to enlarge The work light was fixed centrally over the rear door, fixed through the hole previously occupied by the washer jet, which has been moved slightly to the left: Click image to enlarge The power cable is routed through a rubber grommet just above the mounting point. The mounting point itself is reinforced with some 6mm nylon: Click image to enlarge It works a treat, and the auto operation at night is great: Click image to enlarge Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? More progress this morning: new hub caps and pedal rubbers were ten minute jobs but the main event was installing a rear ladder:
Click image to enlarge I bought this ladder from Custom90Steve about 3 years ago and it's been gathering dust in the garage ever since. It arrived finished with cold galv, but has since been etch primed and finished with three coats of Smoothrite. Self-adhesive neoprene has been applied to top and bottom mounting plates and the whole thing is secured with 8mm stainless nuts and bolts, that are isolated on the outside with nylon washers: Click image to enlarge Ignore the yellow tinge. It's the remnants of glue where the previous owner had lined the roof with carpet.
