To recover or not?

Whilst out in the red 110 was about to turn left when I saw a small beaver tail lorry with car on the back of it parked up about 10 metres away from a giveway sign. Fairly obvious broken down as driver was on mobile phone in middle of the road.

As I turned left was waved down but decided to drive on. Recovery lorry had been prepped ready for towing. Tow strap was attached to the top of the metal A bar!

Now if that is the standard of knowledge of the recovery driver I think he should find a new occupation.

If it was a polished 'A' bar, he perhaps just wanted it ripping off anyway. Who wouldn't

Perhaps he knew they were a no no and was taking the law into his own hands
