I travelled to Japan numerous times while working and always enjoyed going there, its clean, safe and the people are incredibly polite. Tokyo is a fascinating city and I was always glad that I had a local colleague to take me around on customer visits. I once remember getting a taxi from TCAT to a hotel in the city, the driver took me to the wrong hotel which had a similar name to the one I wanted. When we finally got to the right hotel, he would not accept any payment because he had inconvenienced me, Can you see that happening in London or any other EU city! Food is good if somewhat eclectic at times, some stuff I politely refused and the local guys thought it very funny to try to get me to eat things such as fish sperm!

I'll give the fish sperm a miss, hopefully. Here is a pic of the trek through the station in the morning. Not as busy as yesterday but still a few folk about:

+1 I used to stay just around the corner from the Tower, yes a great view especially at night with everything lit up.

Try to get up will be a massive challenge. Its 3 am and I'm 'tired and emotional' following an extraordinary evening of eating drinking and yes, karaoke. I'm broken. Time for bed.
