The new series has just started on bbc2, it looks like they've dumped Chris Evans and the stig so hopefully it might get better. Ray

Just watched it and to be honest wasn't that impressed. I really wanted to like top gear in its new format as I enjoyed the old one so much.

Watched the first 25 mins.

Still flogging a dead horse, Top Gear had run over its course quite a while before Clarkson had his punch up.

Matt Leblanc has all the personality of a ryvita which really doesn't help.

Love it or hate it, love them or loathe them, Clarkson, Hammond and May have a chemistry that cannot be bought or gained very easily. Despite Top Gear's tired format or whatever criticism you want to suggest it made for an entertaining, easy to watch programme. Take away this chemistry and it's just not quite the same....
