How did you pay, if by credit card they are responsible and will refund your money, they will also have a word with the seller. 80" 1948

Obviously not been posted yet.
Best clarify that sort of thing before agreeing purchase and payment. Always best to try amicable solution though so I would give one last 48hr chance on a PM/post here and if no response or proof it's been posted, get your money refunded and look elsewhere. |

Most postal company's say to allow 14 days from the day it was posted so you need to know when/if it was posted then you can decide weather to wait if it's the postal company's fault or give up and reclaim your money. Ray

It's a private seller. No PayPal or bank recourse. You pays your money and takes your chance. If it came to legals though, I used to run a recovery business, so I am quietly confident. V8 90...WIP

If you don't receive it in say a week, why can't you start talking on the open forum.
I seem to remember that happening before, last one a badly painted roof etc? Pickles. |

It was an Urban Truck Steering Guard.
I don't mind talking on the open forum. It is a forum issue for us all when people don't act reasonably. But I don't know what the official forum line is. When he posted my name and address for all to see and I asked for it to be removed, the whole thread got deleted . V8 90...WIP |

Might be too late for you, but always pay by credit card or paypal. Non delivery of goods can be claimed back via credit card or paypal guarantee. Third choice is debit card, where you can request a charge back on non delivery.
Never pay by bank transfer. Good luck, and hope the seller responds. |

I always work on the basis that people are trustworthy. It's sort of a thing of mine. The point that I start thinking bad of people without evidence of that is a slippery slope imo. Treat others as you wish to be treated. If I loose 105 quid then so be it. But if it looks that bad I would take legal action and as I have the experience in debt recovery, he will get one or two unpleasant surprises.
But I hope it won't come to that. I still hope he is reasonable and indeed will read this and actually assist in ensuring I get the goods or a refund. . V8 90...WIP |

On a forum like this where we all share common ground you would hope that common decency would prevail and the item would arrive. I had the pleasure of selling Paul a couple of items and he was a gentleman to deal with, super quick payment and messages to say it had arrived and thanks for how well packaged items were. So Mr Steering guard do the decent thing and get in touch with Paul. 2015 HT XS 90

Yes I second that, do the right thing and send the steering guard.
If we can't trust each other on the forum it's a poor show. |

I've brought and sold via the forum and had no problems, nothing worse than crap excuses from a seller, if they haven't got the time to follow the deal through, then why bother?? Hope they pull their finger out and gets it sorted. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |
