Hi, new to this site well posting anyway but been reading lots as I have a Defender that I tow my horse box with but think its very flat and needs more power so bought a box thing from Alive Tuning. Anyway, mine arrived this morning but think I have a blank one as it has no stickers on it or any mention of Alive Tuning as per the pic on their website - is yours the same? |

Knowing you've previously had a remap box from another well known, and highly respected tuning company, the pressure was on for me to deliver the goods! I cannot tell you how relieved I am, that you're happy with my tuning work. |

These are 'Black' (unbranded) boxes, as our next batch of branded ones doesn't arrive until 9th March. They work in exactly the same way as our branded boxes, and deliver the same results too. You should have recieved an email with a download link for the software, and instructions on what to do. I will PM you with my mobile number, so you can call me if you need any help. I've remapped two Puma Defenders today, and I am ready to remap yours as soon as I recieve your email. Best Regards, Gary. |

Hi Gary, Can't send it to you today as the car is at the stables but will get it to you on Monday or Tuesday. Can you send me a sticker or something for the front as it looks a bit strange/cheap. Something as per the one on your website will do - this will also help me as it will have your number on to ring when I am using it. Did you get my email about the speed limiter removal etc as I have not had a reply yet? Lady M. |

No I didn't? I have sent you a Private Message so we can discuss your requirements away from the forum. |

So I've been driving the Landy this week like an old man ( no disrespect intended to the more aged forum members ) and I filled up today and found I am getting 29mpg (290miles, 45litres = 6.44MPL=29MPG). This is with version 2 of the tune Gary sent me. I think version 1 will be better but I'm not going to use it as v2 works great power wise for me. So the difference is just under 3mpg between boy racer and old dude! Think I will continue with boy racer mode as it has been a long week driving in old man mode |
